Balmain Paris

The name Pierre Balmain stands for a unique concept of elegance. The Balmain beauty house was started in 1945 by French designer Pierre Balmain. Balmain owed his early training to the famous Edward Molyneux and Lucien Lelong. Balmain's clientele included royalty and movie stars - Katharine Hepburn and the Queen of Monaco were on Balmain's speed dial. The name Balmain is shared amoung some 220 licensees worldwide, continuing the legacy of the fine couture house that has seen the likes of Oscar de la Renta and most rescently Christophe Decarnin. Balmain's association with hair extensions began in 1975.
